Had a bright sunny day, so I was able to get some better photos of the head sculpt. Also took some with Immy and Minsc with his two-handed sword equipped. Also some more poses with bow and Wand of Magic Missiles.

One Sixth Baldur's Gate 
The statues are very well crafted, but I’m skeptical about the choice of basing Imoen’s face on her BG1 portrait. The reason is that it was closely based on a real person, the wife of one of the programmers. I would prefer to keep a face that cannot be easily associated to a real life person, unless they give consent for further use of her image. The BG2 portrait as far as I know isn’t specifically based on someone in particular, thus it would be better for me.
Some people argued that she resembles Britney Spears, but it’s not very clear or immediate to say, and surely not as recognizable as the other one. If it were true, the artist really did an effort to make her different enough not to be immediately recognizable (plus a globally famous singer who already knows her appearance is used everywhere is less problematic than a random housewife who probably didn’t expect for us to still stay here 25+ years later using her appearance for various purposes).
